  1. I want to write an FBI character, and wonder if you can give me any resources to make it realistic? What is a day-in-the-life like? What is the hierarchy of officers/agents? What is their jurisdiction and how does it differ from local law such as police or sheriff?

This is a brand-new interest for me and the closest experience I have is watching Xfiles episodes. Yes. Laughable.

    1. I'd go to the source. The FBI has an office whose only job is to help writers write it right. Here's how to get in touch with them.
